Our Client Onboarding Process
Our firm's "client-first" mentality means we're committed to understanding your unique situation as we discover, design, and deliver your personalized financial plan.
In efforts to keep you in the driver's seat, we want you to know the roadmap of our onboarding process so there are no surprises along the way. Below is our step-by-step client onboarding process:
1. Introductory Call (10-15 Minutes)
- Assess your needs and objectives
- Introduce the GCA Planning Process
- Determine if GCA may be a good fit for your financial goals
- Schedule Discovery Meeting
2. Discovery Meeting (60-90 Minutes)
- Discuss your goals and objectives in greater depth
- Explain the GCA Plan Summary
- Set a possible agenda and timeline for financial planning elements
At this point, if you determine that our team is a good fit for your financial goals, we will:
- Execute a client agreement
- Schedule your first Design Meeting
- Send you our intake questionnaire
- Collect the engagement fee (if applicable)
3. Design Meeting(s) (60-90 Minutes)
- Review client data
- Review risk management elements of financial plan
- Identify need for legal, tax, or ancillary specialists
- Review updated plan summary/progress report
- Review hypothetical retirement accumulation or income illustrations
- Discuss investment portfolio design and consolidation
- Begin or schedule implementation processes
- Schedule next meeting
4. Delivery Meeting (30-60 Minutes)
- Complete all outstanding paperwork
- Initiate online access and paperless statements
- Schedule follow-up meeting
